Holy Martyr Ludmila († 927) was the first Czech princess, ruler of Bohemia, who along with her husband, Prince Borivoy, accepted holy Baptism. Saints wife were baptized in St. Moravia. Methodius, who, along with his brother, St. Kirill, revered as the educator of the Slavs and the creator of the Slavic alphabet. Returning home, the princes began to preach and spread Christianity in the Czech lands.
