In this edition, the reader's attention is offered to the short prayers and the Psalter. Prayers were translated partly from the Greek original, partly from the Slavonic. Translation of the book of the Psalms is made from the Greek text of 70 interpreters, who has a special authority in the Orthodox Church. The book of the Psalms has a division into kathismas and glories, as well as prayers found in the Orthodox liturgical Psalter. We hope that our publication will be useful in reading the home prayer rule.
