Pyotr Nikolayevich Mamonov is a poet, musician, actor. He was born on April 14, 1951. In 1979 he graduated from the Moscow Polygraphic Technical School. In 1979-1982 he studied at the editorial department of the Moscow Polygraphic Institute, in 1984-1990 - the leader and frontman of the legendary rock band "Sounds Mu", the leader of the Moscow underground of the 80's. He is fluent in English and Norwegian, his translations have been published in many poetic anthologies. Since 1991 he has performed solo. The author, director and main actor of the performances: "Is there life on Mars?", "Chocolate Pushkin", "Mice, the Boy Kai and the Snow Queen".
