In Kazan after a fire in 1579 miraculously appeared the Holy face. Found his little girl Matrona, the daughter of a merchant who in a dream saw the blessed virgin who told her mother to go to the fire and get the icon from the rubble. Later found the image of the Saint to the surprise of people who were very bright and beautiful, and fresh paint.
In the same place, where was found a valuable icon erected a monastery for women, and the divine pattern moved to the assumption Cathedral (Kazan).
