St. Theodosius was abbot of the Kiev-Pechersk Monastery. He led an ascetic life of God. He never give up and always strengthened the brethren in all the troubles. Many miracles happened for prayers elders. Cloister and the number of monks at it steadily increased. Holy man died in the world and piety, leaving behind a great spiritual heritage and an example to all, followed by the monks.
