Holy Martyr Love lived in the II century during the reign of the Emperor Hadrian (117-138) in Rome. She was the youngest daughter of a pious widow Sophia and had two sisters. Their names are Faith and Hope. Mother gave the names of the daughters of the three main Christian virtues and wanted to grow them in the love of God. During the persecution of Christians when the mother with the girl's appeared before the emperor they boldly professed their faith.
Hadrian ordered to bring the children to various tortures. The executioners began with a 12-year-old Faith. They ruthlessly tortured the girl and then beheaded her. A10-year-old Hope also dead painfully. The 9-year-old Love was the last one. She was tied to a wheel and beaten with the sticks until her body turned into a bloody wound. After that she was beheaded.
