The Feast of the Intercession of the Mother of God is a remembrance of the miracle that occurred in Vlachner Church on October 1 (14), 910: The Blessed Virgin appeared to the believers above the altar of the temple and spread out Her veil over them. On this day, the Mother of God revealed to the people that She is a Meddler for them before God. The Mother of God extends her prayer cover over all Orthodox Christians and begs her Son to grant eternal salvation to every person.
