The Crucifixion of Christ. Prayer Let God arise, 11x27 mm, E 18220

On the front side of the cross is depicted the Crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ. On the ear there is a seraph, a six-winged fiery angel. On the back are written the initial verses of the protective prayer to the Holy Cross of the Lord.

This prayer is read in danger, and also carried with them for protection from evil forces:

May God resurrect, and His enemies will be scattered, and may run away from His hating His face. As soon as smoke disappears, they disappear; As the wax melts from the face of the fire, let the demons perish from the person of those who love God and sign the sign of the cross, and in the joy of those who say: Rejoice, Primate and Life-giving of the Cross of the Lord, drive the demons by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ to you, to hell descended and overpowered diabolism, and bestowing on us the Cross of Your Honest for the expulsion of every adversary. Oh, Honest and Life-giving Cross of the Lord! Help me with the Holy Lady the Virgin and the Theotokos and with all the saints for all.
