Shroud of the Virgin 120x80 cm

The Shroud of the Dormition of the Mother of God is made of blue velvet. The very image of the Mother of God and the inscriptions on the shroud are embroidered. A fringe adorns the shroud along the perimeter. The shroud is a large plate, it depicts the image of Jesus in the tomb or the deceased Mother of God. The Shroud with the Mother of God is carried out during the service on the feast of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos.
