Farewell Slavic - a documentary story, telling about the uneasy fate of the children of the Great Patriotic War. The main hero of the story is Victor Gladyshev - one of these children. Man is a complex, sometimes dramatic fate. Even before the war, the family of Viti Gladyshev, where there were six children, lost her mother. The Great Patriotic War took away the last support of children - a beloved father. All his life Victor Gladyshev took in his soul the image of his father, and the march Farewell of the Slav, first heard by little Vitya at the station, while paying farewell to his father leaving for the front, determined his future life and profession. Orphans Gladishev went through all the trials of military hard times - occupation, captivity, hunger, cold, humiliation. They endured much, but did not drop human dignity.
