Having undergone a lot of suffering and torture from the father and the mayor of the city, the holy virgin not renounced Christ and more continued to strengthen in the faith. God has constantly strengthened its sending signs and wonders. Seeing that no torture could not break the spirit of St. Barbara, the torturers have killed her. Execution performed very ascetic father. The relics of St. Barbara in the XII century, moved to Kiev, in the Cathedral of St. Prince Vladimir, where reside to this day.
