Saints Faith, Hope, Love and their mother Sophia lived in the 2nd century in Rome even in those times when Christians were persecuted by the pagan authorities of the Roman Empire. Sofia (in translation from Greek - Wisdom), she named her daughters in honor of the main Christian virtues: faith, hope and love. Girls, who according to legend were, respectively, 12, 10 and 9 years were brutally tortured in front of their mother on the orders of the Roman emperor for refusing to renounce Christ. A few days later, after burying her daughters, Saint Sophia quietly departed to the Lord. The Holy Martyrs guard with their prayers those who ask for the spiritual well-being of their children, about a strong and united family.
