A map-guide to the monasteries of Ukraine was published since 2004 with the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Volodymyr.
The 8th edition of the guidebook now for the first time comes out under the name Monasteries of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and has the neck of the Publishing Department of the UOC.
Monasteries, monasteries, monasteries, cathedrals of each diocese are indicated on the map. Also highlighted are the most significant shrines of the monasteries: miraculous icons, relics of saints (whole), holy springs. On the back of the map, information about the monasteries is given in accordance with the regional and diocesan divisions according to the following scheme: address, telephone, website, travel, historical dates, shrines.
This issue is supplemented by detailed maps of regions with a high density of monasteries: Kiev and the Transcarpathian region (Mukachevo and Khust diocese). Also in this edition the administrative and diocesan division is added to the map. On the back there is a separate diagram of the administrative structure of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
